Clinical Director Orthopaedics
Prof. Dr. med Markus Schmitt-Sody took over the position as head physician at Medical Park Chiemsee in 2007. Since 2008, he has served as medical director there as well as at Medical Park Prien Kronprinz. In 2016, he was appointed as an associate professor at Munich's Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU). He earned his medical spurs between 1998 and 2007 at the Großhadern Clinic of the LMU in Munich in the clinics for surgery, orthopedics and trauma surgery. Markus Schmitt-Sody is active as a member of all renowned orthopedic professional societies - in some cases in a leading role as a board member or scientific advisor.
