Johannes Jürgen Mees, MD, has been the Chief Physician of Orthopaedics at Medical Park Bad Rodach since 1999. He is a specialist in orthopedics and trauma surgery and has additional qualifications in manual medicine/chiropractic therapy, sports therapy, physical therapy and balneology, acupuncture, and social medicine, as well as specialist qualifications in sonography, radiation protection, and emergency medical services. He is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Sports Science at the University of Leipzig and a member of numerous medical associations. He is also the medical supervisor of the German Bekhterev's Disease Association | Coburg Group as well as a founding member and medical supervisor of the self-help group for arm and leg amputees Coburg/Bavaria.
